I took the venture to dream a dream,
Love and happiness flowed resembling a stream.
The fortune of a lifetime was in this dream,
Visions of the two of them as a team.
I am delighted that I dared to dream my dream,
As I relaxed in the enchantment of the stream.
His voice was like honey and cream,
As he elucidated to me my dream.
I can revel in the knowledge of this dream,
That one-day he and I will become a team.
Our love for one another will flow like a stream,
I will know then that this wasn't an impossible dream.

This poem was created from my heart. As the words came flowing out of my heart I could feel what they mean. It was during a time in my life that was very rough. A time that I felt unloved, unneeded, unwanted, and perhaps even a time when I felt like giving up. But I knew that somehow I must carry on and so I have and as this poem says it has gotten better. So if you feel like giving up DON'T there can be happiness in your life.
