It was along the Sea of Galilee
That Jesus said, "Follow Me."
The first to be called was Simon and Andrew
This was the start of the Lord's fishing crew.
A little farther on they came upon two brothers
James & John and when called they joined the others.
They had no nets to repair or mend
But the sick and tormented they did tend.
Next came Philip and Bartholomew,
Then Thomas and Matthew
Next came James the son of Alphaeus
And lets not forget about Thaddaeus.
Next came Simon the Zealot,
Then finally the betrayer Judas Iscariot
Jesus had chosen and called forth the men
There was twelve and not ten.
The same call goes forth today
Love is the price that you pay,
So won't you answer the call today
To help another find his/her way
