GRANDMOTHERS

As I sit here thinking of you my dear Grandmother, I think of all that we have shared. The times that you were with me when there was no other. The special touch that you have made into my life. The guiding hand, the warm smile up on your face and the love that has poured from your heart. How you have had to hold you head up and carry on when others would have wanted to just give up. You Grandmother have been my strength and have shown me how I too must carry on. And while sitting here I took the letters for the word Grandmother and have come up with meaning for each of the letters. I want to share them with you and want you to know that there is a special meaning behind each of the letters and the meanings are from the heart.

          G=Guardian to the young
          R=Ready to help in the time of need
          A=Anchor in the time of storms
          N=Never to busy for your family
          D=Dear to everyone that loves you
          M=Motivator you keep us all going
          O=The number One woman in my life
          T=Teacher of how to make it through life
          H=Homemaker, cooking, cleaning and ironing
          E=Example of how to live life fully
          R=Reliable; you are always there

You see Grandmother,
I Love You so very much.

From the Heart of Angel45_2B

This is a special page because I received a message from Don today asking me if I would do a page about Grandmothers. I have never met or talked with Don before, but he proceeded to tell me about his Grandmother who is a very special person in his life. And thus I was able to put words that I felt from his message onto this page. I remember my materal Grandmother whom I lost back in the 1980's. My Paternal Grandmother passed on when I was little and so I can't remember her all that much. But I now realize that many times we wait too long to tell our Grandmothers how much they mean to us. And Don I hope that you will make sure that your Grandmother gets to see this page on the internet. May God Bless the both of you and also every Grandmother that is out there in the world.
