Happy Mother's Day 2003

When I was little I would sit on my Mother's knees,
She would place her arms around me and give me a squeeze.

On my cheeks she would plant a great big kiss,
Those are the times that I really miss.

As the years went by and I grew older,
I learned to take on the world a little bolder.

Picking wild flowers for Mom was always my favorite thing to do,
And my Mom knew I was saying with the flowers, "I Love You".

The years have gone by rather quickly as they often do,
Now my Mother is a Grandmother too.

The little ones she takes them on her knees,
And plants the kisses and gives them a squeeze.

So as I remember my Mother this year on her special day,
I want her to know that I love her more than I can say.
