THE KNIGHT

Once upon a time long ago in the state of Michigan there was a baby boy born to a family. Everyone came far and wide to see him as the word spread quickly of his handsome looks. One by one the mothers all secretly hoped that when this young lad grew up that he would take their daughter to be his bride.

As the young lad grew so did his charm. He turned into a very smooth talker and his voice sounded like pure honey to all the ladies. One by one he added them to his list and soon his name became famous thoughout the land. Far and wide men became quite upset. The young lad’s desire was to become a "Knight in Shining Armor" for one special lady. He searched throughout the region to find that one special lady that would be totally smitten with him. One by one he started eliminating them and soon he found the one lady and he knew he could not live without her. But first he would have to win her over because she was not interested in him. He tried his smooth talking and that didn’t seem to impress her at all. He tried all that tricks that he knew of but alas none of them worked on this one. Soon he found that his Uncle Sam was asking him to travel the world with him. Totally frustrated with his desire to win this lady’s heart and seeing nothing but failure around every corner. He decided to try one thing more; this young lad agreed to go traveling with his Uncle Sam. He had heard that absence makes the heart grow fonder and so he decided to try it and see if it were true.

So, while this young lad was off into the foreign lands he learned what it was to become a crusader. When he returned to the states again he knew that his mission in life was to rescue all the damsels in distress. He found his ladylove and soon they were married and a son was born to them. Together they faced many trials, tribulations and had much jubilation as well. Today he is the proud Grandfather of three children.

Many of us know him as Smooth Talker, some may know him as Country Boy, or other various names. But as of this day he shall be known as Sir Kenny.

Many of you may wonder how he became a "Knight of the Square Table". Well let me just say that is another story that will be told one of these days.
