My Lord

In a small child's laughter,
A lone bird's song,
I thought I heard you.
I know I'm not wrong.

The mountains, the prairies,
A blue summer sky;
I know I've seen you
And happy am I.

In the hush of the morning
Or a serene evening hour,
Your presence is there;
I feel it; your power.

I think of you, speak to you;
You know that I do.
My wishes, my dreams,
You can make them come true.
