PRAYER TIME

How sweet is is to talk to God
Before the day begins,
to praise Him and to thank Him,
For the blessings that He sends.

To share the little joys and fears,
That come alone our way,
And ask that God will be our guide,
Through this another day.

To pray for friends and for family,
And place them in God's care,
And know the God will keep watch over them,
In places everywhere.

And for this world in which we live,
To pray each day for peace,
That all will live a brothers should,
And wars forever cease.

To seek forgiveness of our wrongs,
And strive to make amends,
The sweetest prayer time that I have found,
Is right before my day begins.
