TO MY BELOVED HUSBAND

I could have purchased a Hallmark card with a very pretty verse,
But I thought this year I'd write my own to express how I feel.

I often reminisce about the time when we first met;
It seems like yesterday though many years have passed.

Our lives have had its trials and we survived them all.
With your strength and courage we came out of each
With me loving you all the more.

The many things you do for me mean more than I can say,
For I know that is a show of love and it's appreciated every day.

I want you to know that I love you today more than ever before
And I'm certain that tomorrow I'll love you even more.
