TOUGH ORDER
A resident in a posh hotel breakfast room called over the head waiter
one morning and said with a wonderful and cheerful smile.
"Good Morning sir. What a wonderful morning I'd like two boiled eggs,
one of them so under cooked it's runny, and the other so over cooked
it's tough and hard to eat. Also, grilled bacon that has been left out
so it gets a bit on the cold side; burnt toast that crumbles away as
soon as you touch it with a knife; butter straight from the deep freeze
so that it's impossible to spread; and a pot of very weak coffee,
lukewarm."
"That's a complicated order sir," said the bewildered waiter. "It might
be quite difficult."
The guest replied, "Oh? I don't understand -- that's what I got
yesterday!"

From the Heart of Angel
Having been a waitress I understand how this customer felt. I never served anything to my customers that I myself would not have wanted had I been in their place. I have also worked as a cook in different restaurants and always made sure that the food was just right. I figured that it was easier to make the customers happy than it would be to stand and listen to them tell me what they thought of my cooking. Boy how I hate to hear how bad I mess things up. So even if I didn't get it right the first time sometimes, I never did send out anything that was not what the customer ordered even when we were super busy. If more people would do it then we wouldn't have customers that are unhappy. You know sometimes people don't speak up and say what is wrong, but you can guarantee that they will tell their friends and perhaps won't come back to the place of business again. I know that I sure hate to get cold food when it is suppose to be hot. Hope that you have enjoyed this page and will come back again and check out my other pages and will perhaps sign my guest book.
